7 John 1, chapter 11

An Act to rearrange some constituencies of Parliament and for an election therein

  1. This Act shall be known as the Constituencies (No. 1) Act, 2023, Bill T771.
  2. By royal order, the seat of Northumbria has been declared vacant.
  3. Whereas the constituency of Monaghan doesn’t fall in a municipality, the region within Gloucester shall be elevated to municipality status, and a by-election take place in the region.
  4. The sitting member at the time of enactment shall fill the vacancy in Northumbria.
