An Act to re-arrange certain Offices and Secretaries of State to form an Interior Office made up of staff of the Environment Office and the Colonial Branch of the Foreign and Colonial Office, to sever the Branch to form the Foreign Affairs Office, and to re-assign the Secretary of State for Foreign and Colonial Affairs, and the Secretary of State for the Environment, and for Other Purposes Connected Therewith

  1. This Act shall be known as the Secretaries of State (No. 1) Act, 2022, Bill C611.
  2. The Foreign Affairs and Colonial Affairs branches of the Foreign and Colonial Office will be severed.
  3. The severed branch will be amalgamated into the Environment Office to form the Interior Office.
  4. The current Secretary of State for Foreign and Colonial Affairs will be re-assigned to become the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
  5. The Secretary of State for the Environment shall become the Secretary of State for the Interior.
