An Act to Establish provisions for succession to the Crown of Baustralia, and for purposes connected therewith
Preface
- The short title of this Act is the Succession to the Crown Act, 2025.
Succession Law
- Only the legitimate descendants of the Sovereign of Baustralia, presently King John, and their heirs and successors, regardless of sex, born within a legal and lawful marriage, are capable of succeeding to the Crown of Baustralia.
Provisions of Collateral Lines
- Should King John of Baustralia be demised without any legitimate and lawful issue, the Crown will descend upon His Royal Highness Prince John, Duke of Kingston, and his heirs and successors.
- Should there be at any point no clear and present line of Succession to the Crown of Baustralia, Parliament will be capable of selecting a new monarch by Act of Parliament.
Regency
- If any four of the following-
- Lord High Treasurer;
- Removed.
- any of the secretaries of state;
- the Lord Chief Justice;
- the Lord President of the Privy Council; or
- the Speaker of Parliament;
- do declare in writing to the Privy Council that the Sovereign is unable to discharge their duties and Royal Functions by reason of infirmity, then a Regent must be appointed by Parliament by a two-thirds majority vote, and the same be dismissed upon the Sovereign no longer being unable to discharge their duties and Royal Functions, should such be summarised by a commission duly authorised by Parliament.
