7 John 1, chapter 32

An Act to Form the Region of Old Bowmanton in the Current Bounds of the Municipality of Bowmanton, to Extend the Municipality and to Form with such lands, the Region of Alnwick, and for purposes connected therewith

  1. This Act shall be known as the Bowmanton Expansion Act, 2024, Bill T7131.
  2. The territory of Bowmanton, Newport, shall be extended to claim the following:-
    1. north along Bowmanton Road up to the first residential property,
    2. east along the forest line up to the large clearing adjacent to Johnstone Road,
    3. along such clearing to Johnstone Road,
    4. south along Johnstone Road up to the terminus of Bowmanton Road at Alnwick Hills Road,
    5. follows the wooded territory up to the point of the field south of the original claim, and
    6. follow in a straight line to the southern apex of the original claim.
  3. The original territory shall form the region of Old Bowmanton.
  4. The region of Alnwick shall be formed from
    1. the southern apex of the original claim,
    2. north-east along the original claim, and
    3. extend in a straight and paralell line up to the western boundary of the new claim.
