An Act to Criminalize the Act of Theft

Be it enacted by His Most Gracious Majesty, and with the Consent of the Current Commons assembled, after the destruction of the original Act, the following:

  1. This Act shall be known as the Criminalization of Theft Act, c. 6.
  2. Any man who steals, or otherwise takes property belonging to another individual without their consent, is guilty of theft.
  3. Theft under the value of 1,000 boercs is punishable with a fine not exceeding double the value of the items stolen.
  4. Theft over the value of 1,000 boercs is punishable with a fine not exceeding 500 boercs more than double the value of the items stolen.
