An Act Regarding Confidential Documents Pertaining to the Military, Government, or Crown

Repealed by Statute Law (Revisions) Act, 6 John 1 c. 45

Be it enacted by His Most Gracious Majesty, and with the Consent of the Current Commons assembled, after the destruction of the original Act, the following:

  1. This Act shall be known as the Official Secrets Act, c. 16.
  2. Any man who, without legal excuse, releases, steals, distributes, transcribes, or copies any confidential document pertaining to the military, government, or Crown, are in violation of this Act.
  3. Any man who, without legal excuse, releases, steals, distributes, transcribes, or copies any document under protection by the military, government, or Crown, are in violation of this Act.
  4. Any man in violation of this Act is subject to a fine not exceeding 100 boercs.
