An Act Respecting Short Titles Of Two Acts Passed In The 2nd Year Of His Majesty’s Reign Respecting Modifications To The Succession Law

Be it enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

  1. This Act may be cited as the Short Titles Act, 2019.
  2. This Act shall come into force immediately.
  3. The Acts listed below shall change the short title clause written next to their name.
    1. 2 John 1 c. 4, paragraph 2, shall be amended to read: “This Act shall be known as the Succession Law (Modifications) Act, 2018.”
    2. 2 John 1 c. 11, paragraph 2, shall be amended to read: “This Act shall be known as the Succession Law (Modifications, No. 2) Act, 2019”.
