3 John 1, chapter 78

An Act to allow His Majesty the King and his successors to name any crime against the Crown as Treason, similar to the prerogative accorded to His Majesty the King and his successors regarding High Treason, and for purposes connected therewith

  1. This Act shall be known as the High Treason Act, 2020.
  2. Whereas in the Treason Act, 2 John 1 c. 23 lays out that His Most Gracious and Excellent Majesty may name any crime an act of High Treason, a similar provision will come into effect.
  3. His Majesty will be able to name any crime an Act of Treason without consent from any great officer, peer, or subject of the realm.
