3 John 1, chapter 40

An Act respecting the Constitutional oaths, to Amend the royal style used therein, and to add provision regarding the method of administration thereof, and purposed connected therewith

  1. This Act modifies the Constitution Act, that is the Second Chapter of the Statute of the Parliamentary Session that sat in the Second Year of the Reign of King John I.
  2. This Act shall be known as the Oaths Act, 2020.
  3. The ‘Oaths’ section shall be changed to read:-
    1. Oaths
      1. All oaths taken shall, in accordance with this Act shall be viewed, electronically, or physically, with the full face of the oath taker visible.
      2. The first oath in each category are to be read if the oath taker is Christian or Jewish, and the second oath if not. The first oath may be modified to fit other religions.
      3. It shall not be forced upon someone to use the religious form of the oath.
    2. House of Lords, Commons, and other Government Positions

    3. Citizenship
      1. I, name, do solemnly swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to His Majesty John I by the Grace of God of Baustralia, King, Emperor of Ostreum, His Heirs and Successors, and that I will faithfully observe the laws of Baustralia and fulfil my duties as a Baustralian citizen. So, help me God.
      2. I, name, do promise that I will bear true allegiance to His Majesty John I of Baustralia, King, Emperor of Ostreum, His Heirs and Successors, and that I will observe the laws of Baustralia and fulfil my duties as a Baustralian citizen.
    4. Armed Forces
      1. I, name, do solemnly swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to His Majesty John I by the Grace of God of Baustralia, King, Emperor of Ostreum, His Heirs and Successors. So, help me God.
      2. I, name, do promise that I will bear true allegiance to His Majesty John I of Baustralia, King, Emperor of Ostreum, His Heirs and Successors.
