An Act Regarding the Determination of His Majesty’s Most Loyal Opposition Within the Parliament of Baustralia

Repealed by Statute Law Reform Act, 8 John 1 c. 11

Be it enacted by His Most Gracious Majesty and with the Consent of the Commons as follows:-

  1. Should the case arise that two or more parties shall tie for the position of His Majesty’s Loyal Opposition, the following may be taken into account.
    1. Combined salaries of the Members including salaries from the military.
    2. Members at the start of session.
  2. Should the case arise that two or more parties shall tie in the above account, a vote in Parliament shall take place, excluding the parties in question.
  3. This Act shall be known as the Loyal Opposition (Appointment) Act, 2019.
