An Act to dissolve His Royal Marines and replace it with the Naval Amphibious Arm, similar in structure to the Naval Air Arm

Preface

  1. Whereas the Marines have dropped in NCO strength to seven (7), His Majesty wishes for the Marines to muster in the ranks with the navy just as marine officers muster with naval officers.
  2. This Act shall be known as the Marines Act, 2019.

Terms

  1. His Royal Marines shall be dissolved, and their strength muster with the navy.
  2. They will all belong to the Naval Amphibious Arm and wear a trade badge on the left sleeve.
  3. The cap badge will remain the same design as His Royal Marines.
  4. Rank titles will become the naval equivalents.
